Funding Round Three.

We’re centring Black African and Caribbean knowledge and practice to advance food equity and justice across Lambeth & Southwark by funding local Black growers researchers and food businesses.

In our third funding round we experiemented with closed, invite only funding. In this we:

  • Conducted desk research and initial network conversation to identify a long list

  • Scored the long list on a series of selection criteria

  • Invited the shortlist to a funding conversation

  • Scored funding conversations to select final awards and funding amount.

*Note: Funding will be available for a minimum of 12 months, and potentially 18 months, subject to negotiations with our funders. This can be discussed further for those funding PhDs.
