About the Black Food Fund.

The Black Food Fund is a new local grant funding programme. Based in Lambeth and Southwark. Led by and for Black people.

We’re passionate about our communities' life and health. Our work focuses on providing grant funding to local work focused on transforming the food system in Lambeth and Southwark. Aiming to improve Black food equity and health in the area where we work and live. Ultimately this fund seeks to acknowledge, celebrate and promote the intrinsic value of our own knowledge systems, practices and food.

Over the next two years, we will distribute £450k of grant funding.
